- Ceramic or porcelain, which tile is better for floors?
- Porcelain is denser and more water- and wear-resistant, so we usually recommend it for floors and wet areas. Ceramic is a great value for lighter-traffic rooms and walls. We bring samples so you can compare in your home.
- Can you tile over my existing floor?
- Sometimes, but the substrate has to be right. We check the subfloor and, if needed, set a proper underlayment so the finished floor is flat and the grout does not crack.
- Do you do the in-home estimate for free?
- Yes. The consultation and quote are free, and we bring tile samples to your door so you can see them in your own light.
